At the begging of every school term everyone sets goals for their selves, when they accomplish them they call the achievements, but when we fail them we call them challenges. In the last two months I have encountered many challenges as well as achievements. If I could make my outcomes of my challenges different I would. For my accomplishments I am going to improve them by being and doing my best.
An accomplishment that I am proud of is my “A” in English 2. I am proud of this because it took hard work and a lot of effort to earn an “A”. I am also proud of this “A” because this is a grade that I can take home to my parents. To ensure that I maintain an “A” average I plan on studying more, being more attentive, and I need to stop letting others influence me. If I can do those three things I know I will pass Eng, with a high “A”
I have only encountered two or three challenges, but the one that is most disturbing is the “F” in geometry, that I earned. There are many reasons why I failed geometry first quarter. I was being very defiant. I made no effort to seek help, I would go to sleep when I got upset with the teacher. I wasn’t very attentive, I disturbed the class by talking and laughing all period, etc. to improve my “I don’t care” attitude and my grade for second quarter, I am going to defiantly study more. When the teacher starts to aggravate me, I’m going to block it out and count to ten. Sometimes, my attitude and reactions can be brutal and I know this can cause me to get written up and days missed out of school.
When the school year starts, we tend to make goals that we want accomplish, in order to do that you have to be determined. This year my goals just consisted with passing and not having that many referrals. Some achievements, especially my “A” in English. The worse challenge is the “F” in geometry. After the first quarter, I know I am going to tighten up, and when second quarter gets here I will have my goal of passing geometry accomplished. Have you ever made goals that either turned out as achievements or either challenges?
