In the mornings, I only eat a bowl of cereal and milk. I need more protein in my first meal of the day, but I don't know any quick protein rich things that are easy to whip up when I'm still half asleep. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

And since it has sausage, it has protein. Also, there is this great chocolatemilk mix called Insant Breakfast. You can find it in the drink mix, or the breakfast section at a grocery store. It provides a lot of vitamans, and protein, and the most fantastic thing is that it taste like chocolate milk. If you want more here is their website...

...oh, and you can also make really great smoothies with them, and they come in other flavors other than chocolate...strawberry...and vanilla I think. Hope I helped.

Eva answered Saturday October 8 2005, 1:39 pm: I hate to spend too long making breakfast in the morning too. When I want to make sure that I get enough protein I usually prepare some quiches made of egg beaters, salsa, cheese, canadian bacon and spinach. I make about a dozen or so, stick them in the freezer. In the morning I pop a couple in the microwave, it takes no time at all. This is good and healthy, especially after a work out, helps repair your muscles.
sbloemeke answered Saturday October 8 2005, 1:08 pm: You may want to get a viatamen that's rich in protein. There's a type of chocolate that can be used for protein, though I don't remember the name... Ask your doctor, he may reccomend something better than I can. Or, go to a drug store and get a vitamen. There are some over the counter. [ sbloemeke's advice column | Ask sbloemeke A Question ]
