My husband wants to get our kids a dog for Christmas. I think we would all really enjoy a dog, but I know that I will be the one who does most of the work. Is there a type of dog that is less work to take care of?

(a 5 gallon one that you can get at wal-mart for like $5) and that she has food in her dish. it is easy to take care of our dog since we have a big yard she has plenty of room to run around, that is what most dogs need.
all dogs will need lots of love, and if you think that your kids will get bored with it, don't get one. on the other hand they are great companions as well. if you want an inside dog, i recomend something very small that probably isnt a big barker. but either way, get your pet tags, and try to get it microchipped as well, it helps so much if your pet runs away. I hoped i helped, i love animals so much. ask me if you have any further questions...hersheylover... [ hersheylover's advice column | Ask hersheylover A Question ]
