my skin has been ripped off of my arms, and I was planning on just replacing it with saran wrap, but I'd like to know of some other methods of dermalogical reconstruction. I am on a tight budget.

Since they are still researching this method, they will probably pay YOU to participate in it and if it does not come out okay, you can use the money to buy long sleeved shirts and arm-warmers. truadvice answered Friday October 7 2005, 10:19 pm: no saran wrap , you'll sweat and you'll get an infection and the skin is suposed to have some air to breath or else it will die (thats why band aids have holes oh the sides ) . im sure you have some neosporin around the house , first wash it with antibacteria soap then put some topical medicine like neosporin on and use a large band aid unless its very big then get some medcial tape which is cheap and cotton puffs and use that . if its really serious then go to the ER , you can get a very bad infection like gangreen or an infection will spread and you'll need an amputation!. Unless you're an albino, then the plaster would suit better. [ Imperialistic's advice column | Ask Imperialistic A Question ]
