All right

My friend who does a lot of stuff like that, can most-likely help u the best, he is really good. I had him give this advice.

sg: Ok here are some good ideas, for dancing that style. But I must ask you to read ALL the directions and Notes BEFORE you try them out.

I. “The Egyptian Spin”
This is a very easy move, but it is great for solos or group in a line. Also it is good intro to other more complex moves.
You’ll just need a Good pair of Shoes for this move.
1) start out in the basic stance (feet spread out should length apart)
2) bring your hands together in “Praying” position (left hand touching right hand in a mirror image of each other) and bring your arms down till they are about parallel with the floor
3) Now your left hand pushes back on the right, adjust hips accordingly till you can go any further.
4) Push the left hand with your right hard so that it switches sides while your right foot is barely off the floor, your body will want to continue to go, so let it.
Note; ideally you will spin about 360 degrees (or a complete circle)
5) You are now done, you may repeat doing the same side or the opposite (just switch the left for the right and right for the left in the directions above) or go into a bigger move.
6) This only for more than one person. If in a group Line up facing the audience , the person at the beginning of the line, will start it off, when he/she hits about then 180 degree (or halfway done on the spin) the second person next to him/her will begin his/her “Egyptian Spin” and so on and so forth. It will make a wave effect and is cool in performances.
Note: when doing the move, always stay focus because you can easily become disoriented and dizzy, and could fall or mess causing injury.
7)
II. “Mr. Smith”
This is a cool move and very easy to do;
You will need good balance, and a firm stance (feet place to the floor)

1) start of with your feet spread out to about shoulder length, and make sure your weight is evenly distributed between the two legs. You know if you are doing it right, if you have a friend, just push you, if you don’t move that much then it is ok.
2) Next shift your weight to the right side, lean back a little throw your right arm back follow by your left. your right foot should point out from your side, and your left pointing out from your front (forming a “L” Shape)
Note; don’t do to much on the arms. Your right arm should just go back like you would do on a backstroke; your left arm should follow the same direction on the SAME SIDE. And your hips will follow the movements of your arms.
3) Now lift your left leg up so your knee and upper leg will be (or close to) parallel, let your left leg follow your hips in the same motion.
Note; keep your Right foot firm on ground (because your going to put all your weight on that leg).
4) Once your left leg goes about 90 degrees (or about where your right foot is), lift your right leg up (same as you did for the left leg) and spin till about a 270 degree,
5) now you should face be facing the same direction and stance you started out in.
Note: it is a lot easier than it looks and sounds. Also it doesn’t matter where your left foot touches the ground, because your hips will give you the momentum to spin the rest of the way
6) And your finish; now just move on to the next move or repeat. There are more complex versions of it but till you fell comfortable with this one, I wont share them just yet. Have fun.

Well Those are just a few dance moves I know and can share. I have some helpful tips for you as well.
-drink plenty of water; especially 24 hours before you do your dancing. (it keeps your muscle hydrated and you are less likely to pull a muscle or worst).
-stretch often
-eat right, take care of your body, no drugs or alcohol.
-stay on beat (it looks beater when you do the moves to the music instead of just doing them.
-have fun.

I hope this helps out; if you like to know more e-mail me at sg272000@yahoo.com or you can just say how it turns out.
