Question Posted Sunday October 2 2005, 5:52 pm

I'm 13 and I've really liked this good friend of mine for a while; to be precise, since Bush won his 2nd election. One day we were talking and he's all like "who do you like?" He kept asking so eventually I told him. Then, I mentally flipped out, suddenly realizing that he got this girlfriend in the 7th grade at the beginning of September (grrrr). I apologized and he said it was ok and that it wasn't anything to be sorry about, but I'm really worried that he won't want to be friends with me anymore. What should I do? And please, please, PLEASE don't say "Don't try and get in between him and his girlfriend" because I'm not about to.

Simple. All you need to do is just forget the whole ordeal happened. It doesn't seem like he minds at all, so why bother with it? Just act as you did before, and try to completely phase out the issue.
The more you adress the issue, the worse it will be. Ignorance is bliss.
