dear summergrl05 I am 14 and I have a huge crush on this guy but my friend amanda doesnt want me to go out with him because hes her ex but my other friends say we are a good couple. amanda hates him so idk y shes all offensive of this but anyway how do I get to go out with him, my other friends think we are a good couple but i still dont know what to do or how to get him to go out with me!!! help plzplzplz!?

sounds like a sticky situation =/. heres what i would do if i were in your shoes:
I would explain to amanda that I really like this guy, and that I would be the happiest girl in the world if I could go out with him. I know you don't like him since he's your ex, but I want to give him a chance. I hope this doesn't get in the way of our friendship because your my best friend.
As for getting him to go out with you, I would first talk to him alot, flirt a little, then after a while tell him that you like him. then you could ask him to go to the mall with some friends and see a movie and just chill. this is what I did and it worked perfectly =].
The key secret to getting any guy is being confident. Guys notice if you're all shy and insecure about your looks, or how the conversation is going.
