Some abbreviations I have no idea what mean
what does i.e. mean???
i sometimes rate

id est. It's Latin. est developed into French for "is", and id is latin for "That". I think. It's used for examples, i.e. this example here.

i.e. when you use a confusing example, and you want to simplify it, you say, "i.e. blah, blah, blah, blah..."
