i need the day after pill but everyone keeps telling me different stuff about where to ge it cos i need to get it for free i have no money. my friends said that the clinic people go to is closed some days but i dont know what days and i dont wana get tere and realise its shut. where else can i get it? will it be free?

Wweeeeelll.... the problem is, I don't actually know where you live, so I can't give specific advice as per the clinic you are talking about. Therefore all I can say is what I know to be true (in England)- the pill is free if you are under the age of consent. If you are over the legal age, it'll cost you about £30 (about $45). Secondly, you MUST take the morning after pill within 72 hours of from the actual act of coitus for it to be effective. If more time than that has past, you need to speak to your general practitioner. What I also know is that, even if the clininc IS shut, there will be SOMEWHERE you can get the pill- in England when free clinics are shut, many supermarket pharmacies take over the role. Failing that, your GP should always be able to proscribe it, so if time is running out, my advice is to go see them, pronto!!! Be safe.
