Godm, do I know how that is! Breaking the ice is what you need to do. Ask him what he's up to this weekend, and see how it progresses from there. Alternatively, you could ask him what kind of music he listens to, and take a keen interest in it. If you show interest in what he's talking about, it'll be a lot easier and more comfortable for the both of you. You can also ask him if he's seen any new movies lately, and see how that goes.
