Question Posted Tuesday September 20 2005, 12:03 am

Future americans came to the COLONIES for religous freedom. The nation was actually formed because we were being treated unfairly tax wise compared to the other English colonies throughout the world. While God was in the lives of many of our nations fathers, american was founded on the belief of religous freedom or the right to not have religion. FYI: I did not write the question.

and you're sending me a question why? And taxes were one of the many reasons why they left the english colonies, i didn't say it was just for god but it's history and all you can do is take it or refuse it.
