makeup help
i am in the 8th grade and all of my friends and everyone in my grade wears makeup. i dont. i really want to and i dont know if my mother will let me or not but i am embaressed to ask her if i can wear makeup and i just really dont want it to be like that. is there any way that i can just hint to her that i want to wear make up? ur the best, thanks

well, if you have like an older sister that wears makeup right now, then you can ask her what your mom would probably say and when she started, etc... but i don't think you have one lol. but like for me, when i just started wearing makeup and your mom will definitely start to notice, like mine noticed on the first day loll. is your mom probably going to be like one of those "no you can't wear makeup to school you're too young" type? or you just don't know??? well if she is, then you should just tell her that you want to start wearing it, just to **try** it out (just say it). if she won't let you, honestly in 8th grade you don't really need makeup anyway, but a lot of people do anyway because it's **COOL** but yeah it does make you look better tho...for some people, for others it seriously doesn't make a difference. maybe you should just wear natural looking makeup, like blush and foundation and some shiny golden eyeshadow at first. then you can move on to brighter colors and such. you should be allowed to. you shouldn't be embarassed. at least it's not something like "mom i started my period" or "how do you use a tampon" or "oh my god i have lumps on my breasts" or something like that haha. it's not that bad, just practice in front of the mirror and be confidence, i mean goodness she's your mom! you have to be able to at least talk to her. if she won't let you, that's kind of unfair because you should be allowed to, it's not that bad..but you could just put on makeup at school in the bathroom and wipe it off later? sorry i know that's bad but it's your face, you should be able to do whatever to it right? it's not like you're doing anything bad to it either, most females out there do it. anyways hope this helps-good luck!! :]♥
