so on friday this guy that i liked asked me out and i said yes. when people found out about it some people said i could do much better than him and that they dont like him because hes self-centered..he didnt come off that way to me..so i guess what im asking is should i stay with him?

well who cares what other people think? That's their opinion. What's your opinion of him? Do you like him? Do you want to date him? Then do it. You shouldn't let other people's opinions decide your life, you should. I mean, he could be the greatest boyfriend in teh world for all you know, and you wouldn't know because of some stupid stuff others said. So yes, you should defientley stay with him. Next time someone says that, just be like," Well he isn't like that with me, so just say whatever you want, it's not changing anything." ( or something like that ). I hoep I helped!
