I honestly can't grantee you won't embarrass your self because I don't know what you would find embarrassing. I personally wouldn't be embarrassed if I told someone I liked them and they didn't have the same feelings back for me. Of course just like any other girl I would be upset but hey if it wasn't meant to be why waste my time crying over a boy. You know what I'm saying? I mean if you really like this boy then just tell him. I know its easier said then done but trust me it's the best way to go. Since you only see this boy on Fridays which by the way I wonder why, you should have a talk with him. Ask him if he has a girlfriend! Be nice and smile. Keep your eyes on him. I'm sure he'll get the picture once you ask about him having a girlfriend. If you don't feel comfortable doing that then ask one of your friends to ask him if he would ever conceder dating you. If he says no then sweetie don't worry about it. It's his loss. And if you start to feel embarrassed you should play it off by saying ummm I never liked you so I have no idea why my friend asked you that. If he says yes that's great. Just come up to him and ask him yourself if he likes you. Then the rest should be history. I mean what's the worst that could happen, Your better off knowing how he feels about you now then later. It will save you a lot of time and energy.
Good luck and if you need anything else be sure to ask me
