Hey.
I just moved & I found a great group to sit with at lunch, then I met a kid that doesn't like hanging out in a group, just with another person. So, today I decided I'd sit by him because I feel bad that he sits by himself. I asked the girls if it'd be okay that I sat by him, and they said, "yeah sure don't worry about it, it's completely fine!" So, I did. I went over & started talking asking him about how his day went & he told me he had to go study for a test in the library, and I just offered to help him study & he could just study at the seats where we were sitting. He said "No I'd rather sit in the library" So I was like there for 4 minutes, and he said he had to go. Which really pissed me off. I had to go back over to the group and say "Oh. *** left!" I felt so retarded!
Well, my question is: Should I ever talk to this kid again? Or sit by him? The only time I see him is lunch, and it makes me so mad that I take the time out of hanging out with friends that I made, and sitting by him when he doesn't even care if I'm there or not.

Do you really like this guy and want to be his friend? If yes, than yes, you should talk to him again. But take it slow- if he'd rather not be social and go to the library instead of eating lunch with you, respect that.
Not everyone likes to sit and talk. Try not to let this guy's actions offend you too much, and just continue to be friendly.
