hey
i have a game this tuesday against pioneer and i hear they are good im a 1st string and a setter im very nervous what about if i mess up and we lose what should i do so that i wont get REALLY nervous befor the game??????????
The best thing to do is music. Bring in warm up music and listen to it before the game, and when you're playing, focus on the game, not the players, if that makes sense.
And if you lose- just shake it off, and forget about it. If you're focused about winning/losing, you're gonna lose.

That way, you are now mentally sound, you have thought thru all the quirks of your game, and thus, are ready to play at an even higher level than even before.
Go get em tiger
