Love at First Sight
I am in high school and I am a male. I am also gay. There is this guy i really want to meet because somehow I love him. It may sound farfetched but I am making blisters with his initials in my skin and I can't stop thinking about him. This other guy asked me out to the movies but because HE was down a few seats on a bleacher below me, I couldn't say yes cuz it felt like betraying him (which I know is insane but I really like him) I've taken like 5 pages of notes on him and I'm planning on getting into a sport he obsesses over but when I finally gathered the courage to talk to him, it ended before it got started. If I were just to be friends with him would be fine, just to be around him really would be great but I can't even speak to him. I get nervous every time i get near him and its impossible to speak. If it were more natural i could do it but just I think he's going to look at me as a freak if i go up to him randomly and just start talking. I just don't know what to do.

Getting into something he is into is a good idea. but you dont know if he is gay or not too, and if you do a sport, get a locker close-ish to his, so you can start small talk, its easier that way than to be across the room and come over and say hi and leave. just, when you see him, take a deep breath, relax, and just say "hi" and continue on with your business.
Try talking about the sport he "obsesses" over too. Its nice talking to people with common interests. =]
As this continues...you should start becoming more comfortable around him, so it will be easier to talk to him.
He wont think your a freak if your just being friendly, and if your teammates, its a good idea to be nice to one-another.
Just take it slowly and calmly at first.

I Have Not gone through Anything exactly Like you before ....so i will just relate to something else.....You may not know if this Guy is Gay or not So you don't wanna React to him to fast....Mabye You can Talk to him in classes,the hallway,and at sports, if you talk to him you may find out what he likes..and become his friend! then after that you can take it to your own levals! i think it is sweet of you that you wanna know this guy just dont go to crazy!

I'm younger than you, and i'm not gay, but i can still help, because everyone has this problem. Just start a conversation with him. He won't think your a freak. If you think it will be ackward then go to one of his games (of the sport he obsesses over) or something and that way you'll have something to talk about. Say something like "Hey I saw you at your game. You were really good" or something. He'll like the attention, and you'll like talking to him.
