i really like this guy. we r frendz and all but i wanna take it to the next level. How should i let him kno this w/o like reuining our frendship. i think he likes me but i cant be sure. he drinks after me all the time and he hugs me all the time too. on thurs. he asked me if i needed a kiss but i told him no bc we were in a huge group of ppl. plus... i was crying. so... how should i let him know that i like him w/o reuining our frendship?? im 14/f

It seems to me like he likes you, and I think you should go for it! I mean, even if you two ever did break up.. you guys could still be friends. It's totally possible. Me and my best guy friend went out and then we broke up, and now it's like it never happened and everything's just like it was before ( which I am so happy about ).. so just maybe sometime ask him," Hey, who do you like?" or maybe ask your friends/his friends. And maybe try hinting and be like,"I like someone, he's someone you know.." and then maybe try telling him then. If he says no, then just be like," oh.. well can we just stick to being friends?" Well he seems really interested. Your friendship is fine... even if you do date and happen to break up... you can still be friends. It's workable & possible. Why don't you have a friend drop a line about your feelings for him, or to be more personal, if you can manage it... call him on the phone, tell him online, or if you're really bold just go up to him in person and be like "Can I ask you something really random?" and if he says yes, just ask if he feels for you more than just friends.
