Birth control I am starting birth control to regulate my period. I know that you get to know the exact day you start your period each month (by the color of the pill). But is it always 100% effective when it comes to your period or is it possible that you could start your period sooner or later?

I have been on and off birth control many times in the last 6-8 years and usually the first pack your period may come toward the end of that week of pills and continue for a few days at the beginning of the next, but that usually only lasts for the first pack sometimes the second. It really depends on you, your cycle, and your body.
Your best betis to talk to your doctor about it, they can tell you which types are best to regulate your period, what types are best if you want less cramps, no weight loss etc.
Hope I Helped :) ]
This is a question that is probably best answered by your doctor. I suggest you call your doctor’s office and ask the question. They may answer it over the phone or request you schedule a visit so the doctor can examine you.
My gut feeling is that your cycle can have small changes even on the pill I still believe the doctor is the best person to answer this question so give the office a call. ]
honey, absolutly nothing is 100% effective in this world. sorry. ]
from my exsperience and from what the doctor says, the only thing that may change about when it will come, is it may be a day to two days late, or two of the different color pills into it before you get it, different pills, so it takes a day or at the most two *maybe 3 in extreme cases* to get used to it and for it to kick in.... I know that a women can can get it early is shes stressed ect. but i didnt think that happened on the pill.. actually i was pretty sure that it couldnt happen earlier at all since the pills prevent it ]
