okay. So I really like love this kid and he said he likes me. We've gone out 3 times before. We were supposed to hang out after I got back from vacation (I got back yesterday) and I havent talked to him since. Now my friend just called me and he said he heard that the kid I like is gonna "hook up" (not sex) with this other girl. I don't know what to think now. He said he likes me and wants to hang out and like be together but I just heard that he's gonna hook up with this girl?? I don't get it. Is there any advice?? thanks!
Curemysadness answered Sunday August 28 2005, 3:39 am: He probably just got tired of waiting for you to get back, and be able to talk to you. A lot of guys are like that, so don't be surprised when he gets a g/f even while he is telling you that he wants to go out with you. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, just telling you what I have experienced or seen. Especially if you and this kid have gone out three times before, he might think that he can just get you whenever he feels like he wants someone. He might also just keep you around so that he DOES have someone if he doesn't have anyone else. Don't let him keep you on the side til he can't find someone else! Tell him how you feel, and tell him how things are going to be with you and him. (be like.."you either like me or you don't, you either wanna be with me or you don't. i won't wait for you forever..so make a decision, it's now or never", or something along those lines.) He should make up his mind then! If not, he is just a confused little boy who wants to break some hearts. [ Curemysadness's advice column | Ask Curemysadness A Question ]
