May Angels Lead You In
Is the song "May Angels Lead You In" by Jimmy Eat World about someone passing away? I'm very confused and I'm not good with what songs really mean. Thanks!

Its actually called 'Hear You me' and yes it is about someone passing away, the angels are leading the person in, to heaven most probably. Its also a very slow sad tune, which tends to suggest something like passing away.

He repeatedly mentions never getting a chance to thank someone for giving him a place to go and making him strong. The word "Angels" in the title also seems to insinuate that the song is about somebody who lost somebody before they were ready, so I'm going to go ahead and say that the song is about a close friend passing away.
