thanks for heling before.. but now it wont let me uninstall AIM.. ughh.. what should i do?

p.s. if it helps i think it might be this "108search assistant.com" that might be blocking it, and i have no idea how it got on my computer..

Ok first go to your control panel add/remove programs and see if 108search assistant is listed. If it is, try to uninstall it from there then reboot your computer.

If it isn't there, update your antivirus and run a full system scan. Fix anything it finds.

Download Ad-Aware, run the live update and do a full system scan with it also. When it finishes scanning, it will give you the option to delete the bad items. The program is free and can be downloaded at the link below.

Download Spybot S&D, run the live update and do a full system scan. Delete all the entries that it finds. Then click immunize to protect your computer against the items. It's also a free program and can be downloaded at the link below.

This should remove the item from your computer.
