my boyfriend is moving ... but i wanna stay close

Question Posted Thursday August 18 2005, 10:36 am

I've been with my boyfriend for 4 months, and in a few weeks (actually like a week) he's moving. He's not moving very far away, but it is a completley different state. I have a license so I could ddrive down to see him pretty much every weekend. But I'm worried that we're gonna drift apart and it's not gonna work out. I'd give anything to make this work, and we've both agreed that we're gonna try our hardest to do so, but it just seems so hard. Do you have any advice that could help us stay close, even if we don't see each other every day like we do now?

Try talking on t he phone or internet everyday. Tell him everyday how much you care for him, and let him know that your still there, so he wont feel like your messing around and go out and do it too. Long distance relationships are really hard ,even if people have liscenses, you just have to talk to him as much as you can & then hope for the best. You also have to have alot of trust.
