Field hockey tryouts are coming up. I've been training all year, but since this is the first time I'm trying out, I'm nervous. VERY nervous. They're on Saturday, and I know I've trained as hard as I possibly could, but I'm still probably one of the least conditioned people trying out. I keep on trying to convince myself; "You've done the best you could," but it's not working! I keep on getting scared that I'll end up left behind or the last person. Even telling myself that I would be doing my best doesn't work. I'm so panicked. It's like getting on this team is [sorta] ruining my life! Does anyone have any tips to make me feel more relaxed and at ease? Aything. . .tips to tryout, what I should do the next few days exercise wise so I'm not sore, how to calm me down... and advice [except for stupid answers] will be greatly appreciated.
