I understand that the right cut will help but how do i create the wavy/straight effect. Also does it look like she has naturally straight hair- because i have wavy/curly hair that i am trying to give a break from straightening and am wondering if this style would give it a break from straightening

how to :
blend a 24 ounce bottle of water and 2 tablespoons of sea salk into a spray bottle. Spriz hair when it is wet and skip the brushing for this effect.
you can also add a little spray gell and run your fingures through it in a zig-zag motion
