Mackenzie answered Monday August 15 2005, 1:11 pm: This is a big problem for me also, so I know how you feel; I've been there, and it's not good. I reccommend using an anti-perspiRant deodorant, followed by regular baby powder. The anti-perspiRant of course helps to reduce sweating, or at least is said to, but in our case... never does. Then with the assistance of applying baby powder right over the deodorant, the pores under your arm close, therefore, more or less trapping the sweat in, so to speak. Honestly, this almost ALWAYS works for me, but there *ARE* days when it's simply not good enough, and that can be a pain in the ass, so I usually make a point of carrying some sort of jacket. Hearing that, there's this product people are always talking about on this site [but I believe that's from "Monkey See, Monkey Do"], but it's even advertised on television called CertainDri. Now, they say it can be purchased at Wal-greens, RiteAid, CVS, and Walmart, however, EVERY SINGLE TIME I've been to the store looking for it, I've never seen it on the shelves. Naturally, this leads me to ask an employee where I can find it, and they *always* tell me they've NEVER heard of it, and they do not carry the product... which just leaves you speechless and with a feeling of, 'what now?' If the problem persists, perhaps you should consult a physician, who can supply you with proper medication. Also, he can give you shots that kind of close up your pores, so sweating never really happens again. I'm not shore if that's an option for you, but I recommend asking him for more information. But whatever you decide to do, goodluck from someone who knows EXACTLY what you're going through!! [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]

xkellyx answered Sunday August 14 2005, 9:52 pm: Try Certain Dri! I heard it works wonders! Also, if you just want to use deoderant, Secret Platinum works really good. But, definitly try Certain Dri.. trust me, it'll work!
devilspawn_666 answered Sunday August 14 2005, 9:45 pm: Make sure you get an anti-perspirant deodorant. That helps control the sweat and the odor instead of just the odor. If that doesn't help, you should see a doctor to see if maybe they can get a stronger kind of anti-perspirant for you. [ devilspawn_666's advice column | Ask devilspawn_666 A Question ]

britt_any345 answered Sunday August 14 2005, 8:20 pm: well take a purse with you and then you put some deoderent in side of it before you go outside or what ever ask your teacher if you can go to the rest room and put some on then you can put some on and you wont sweat as bad it happens to me all the time and it helps a whole lot thats what i did remember
In the morning take a purse and put some deoderent in side
whenit is time to go outside you ask to go to the bathroom and put some on that way it wont do that
Then after you come in from out side put some more on so that wont happen to you. if the deoderent doesn't work the take a jacket on or a extra shirt with you just in case if it gets to bad okay Hope I helped love brittany

Karen answered Sunday August 14 2005, 7:41 pm: You need to use a strong anti-perspirant deoderant to help you from not sweating as much. You can try purchasing Certain Dri at your local pharmacy and it will make your sweat pores, causing you not to sweat as much. The price of this product is less than ten dollars. Or you can use a solid powder deoderant and that will help. Talk to a dermatologist if you have to. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
