ok well on the cord, there should be a little part, and then a wide part. You put the wide part in the bottom of the ipod and the skinny part in the computer thing .. somewhere on your computer ( hardrive I think it's called? The tower thingy lol ) there should be two ( or one ) plug thing just sitting there ( there's no other cords or anything in it ) and that's where you put the skinny part of the cord ( it could be on the front of the tower thing or the back.. I think most it's on the front part ) so then you have your ipod connected..and it'll say "DONT DISCONNECT" on the ipod screen so.. don't disconnect and stuff. And then have you installed the ipod program? Well if not, put the disk that came with it whenever you bought it ( if you didn't get one with it, you should have...) and then install the program. And then the iTUNES program will come up and you just go to the "SEARCH" bar and type in whatever song you want and see if they have it. And then you look for it and click "BUY SONG". And then the ipod'll update itself with all the songs and stuff so that's all you gotta do, adn then once you get all the songs in there, wait until the ipod finishes updating itself, and then whenever you look at the ipod screen and it has like the menu and everything on there not anything like," DON'T DISCONNECT" and stuff then just unplug it! I hope I helped! Sorry if I was confusing!! Sometimes I can't describe stuff very well haha!

Love,
MELii

download the software, then you will get iTunes, then download the music from there for 99 cents or you can download it from another program. Once you've downloaded the music, put it in your library, then go to file and "update [name]'s iPod"

well to begin with i believe you have to download some software for the iTunes library. and once you get the library they have a help center where you can ask a question or look one up. i have a mini iPod too and a dell computer but my dad did most of this stuff for me. if you need to ask me more about it feel free cause i currently have 380 songs on mine, so im doing something right. hope you can figure it out. once you do it's not complicated at all. :)
