Hair

Question Posted Saturday August 13 2005, 1:15 am

Well my hair is pretty thin and I got a perm when I was in 6th grade but it never really grew out because I had wavy hair anyways. Well my hair falls out quite a bit when I shower and stuff and I was wondering if anyone knew any homemade hair stuff to use or salon stuff... Please any advice is great!

Heather

i don't know any home-made remedies, but Got2B Sexy Voluptuous Volume Aero shampoo works wonders on thin hair and really boosts volume. its 5.99 at your local CVS store. good luck!

I would suggest investing in a shampoo and/or conditioner for damaged hair. You can also use a hot oil or deep conditioning treatment. Drinking lots of water and eating plenty of fruits and veggies will provide your hair with the vitamins and minerals it needs to regain health.

You can make a home deep conditioning treatment with the recipe below.
Avocado Deep Conditioner
Ingredients
1 small jar of mayonnaise
1/2 avocado
Directions
Peel avocado and remove pit. Mix all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl with your hands until it's a consistent green color. Smooth into hair being careful to work it to the ends. Use shower cap or plastic wrap to seal body heat in. Leave on hair for 20 minutes. For deeper conditioning wrap a hot, damp towel around your head over the plastic, or use a hair dryer set to a low to medium heat setting.

Hope this helps.
