Boys will always come and go but a true best friend is hard to come by. Trust me, I'm 17 years old and I've fought with my friends over guys and it never ends up good. You and your friend could fight over him now and end up being friends again - but you're never the same once that happens. No guy is worth getting in between that. You should tell your friend you like him too and make a pact that neither of you be anything with him but friends. That way you keep all the friendships and no one really gets hurt. I hope I helped!
