Well i've been with my boyfriend for four months now. but i have this best friend Josh. well awhile back Josh told me he was in love with me. but of course i don't feel the same way so he finally moved on but we're still VERY close and like the bestest friends. well him and my boyfriend became best friends through me. so everything was great and all. then me and josh started talking alot on myspace and my boyfriends somewhat the jealous type. and i put I LOVE YOU at the end of josh's comment. but it was as a brotherly thing. now my boyfriend like hates him and i feel like its all my fault!cause they were like the best of friends.what should i do?

Hey hun. Well, you're in kind of a bit of a sticky situation. You can't control other peoples actions, feelings, or views; only yours. So with that in mind, I would say the best thing for you to do would be to just explain to your boyfriend that you want all three of y'all to get along, NOT because you have intimate feelings for Josh, but because you just like when everyone gets along and is happy. Just tell him that the I love you that was left on the comment should have been taken in the same nature as an I love you that you would say to a good girl friend. Hopefully, your boyfriend will understand. I also suggest that you clear things up with Josh (and make your boyfriend aware that you have too) and make certain that he knows exactly what you meant by it. I think your boyfriend will get over this..and eventually he might become friends with Josh again. Maybe Josh could even reassure your boyfriend that y'all are just friends. In the mean time, don't let this get blown out of proportion. Just be patient and things will work out. :)
