hey i want to join every sport this coming year but im not VERY good at all of them and our coaches are all about winning and i dont want to be the one that ruins everything any tips on how i could get better in every sport (volleyball,basketball,softball,etc.)
sarah0308 answered Tuesday July 26 2005, 10:34 pm: hey! i just want to tell you one thing.. at my school you cant play slowpitch softball and volleyball(at the same time), and you can't play soccer and basketball(at the same time).. like you have to pick one or the other because slowpitch and volleyball's seasons are the same and soccer and basketball's seasons are the same.. im sorry i dont kno what to tell you about gettin better.. all i can really say is practice at home with friends, family, basically anyone who will help you.. good luck!

clearlypink428 answered Tuesday July 26 2005, 7:52 pm: if you have a coach thats all about winning- then there's sumthing wrong with your school system. coaches dont benefit from ther team winning or losing. they simply get a small bonus in ther check just for being a coach.any normal coach would just be there to show kids that they can do nething in the world that they want to. or at least, all of my coaches did. which should perfectly answer your question- a coach is there to teach you what you dont know about a sport in order to make you better at it. try out for any sport you are serious about being in- and i guearantee you that even if youre not the best there- as long as you ahow that youre determined- any coach in their right mind would let you on the team. good luck in what you choose to do. i hope i helped. *~aim~* mikelly4039 [ clearlypink428's advice column | Ask clearlypink428 A Question ]
