Ok my hair is curly and a little past my shoulders! I have some questions about it.
Does leaving it in a towel after a shower make the curls less.....well curly? lol
What are some ways to make the curls less intense after its wet without the use of a relaxer?
LifesNoStoryBook answered Saturday July 23 2005, 8:10 pm: I have the same kind of hair. With mine, leaving it in a towl after a show doesn't effect my curls. But to get my curls less ..curly and more of a wavy and less intense look, I just brush it when its wet, and then flip my head back and forth like a rocker, lol. And then just let it dry on its own. I don't know if this will have the same effect on you as it does for me, but hey, its worth a try!

X_Amanda_X answered Saturday July 23 2005, 10:15 am: I used to have the same problem! I STRONGLY recommend "Simply Straight" shampoo and conditioner by Marc Anthony. When you wash your hair with it, it smoothes out curls and waves and make it easier to straighten with a straightener. As for straighteners, I recommend Gold Ceramic ones by Conair.
DancinCutie08 answered Friday July 22 2005, 9:37 pm: ive heard blow drying works but then you prob have to straighten it afterwords or it will be to frizzy. try braiding your hair or pulling it up after u shower. it works for me even though my hair isnt that curly it makes my hair almost straight [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
SweetxxIntoxication answered Friday July 22 2005, 9:15 pm: i have natual curly hair too, but mine hair is short and i straighten it all the time.
i'd say towel dry it well, then brush it out and just put it up somehow. that usually made my hair not so curly.
or when its totally dry, just straighten it out a little bit, just so that it is a little wavey/less intense. [ SweetxxIntoxication's advice column | Ask SweetxxIntoxication A Question ]
