hi um i wanna learn electric guitar or just plain guitar i listen to rock bands and i wanna play like them except i don't stick to practicing at all what can i do to change that and what is a good way for improving on your guitar skills

Well if you take lessons tell your teacher what you wanna play... cause then they know how to help you play certain songs... but if they won't teach you that they aren't a great teacher. If you self-teach... like me. Well I look up tabs all the time...and I have friends that are real good at the guitar will sit down help me tune my guitars... and they help me with songs I wanna learn and they will teach me tiny things that help. And I practice sooo much on my own... I have lots of stuff goin on in my life. It's like crazy. And it helps me get away from my crazy family and soccer cause I get so stressed out. So if you really wanna play find a reason to play... it'll help you play more. tell me how you are teached... and I can help you out soooo much from there.
