It's still possible for your boyfriend to have kids, even with only one ball descended. Variance in size between the two is normal. If it bothers you and him a lot, have him go to the doctor to be checked out. I'm sure there's no problem but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Yes it is a problem if one of the testicles has not dropped, but if his testicle were not to have dropped he would have already had it surgically dropped. His testicles should have already dropped by now. The best way to go about doing this is to ask him. If you are already having sex at such a young age, then you should at least be able to talk about these things with him. I wouldn't really worry about kids with him so far, unless you know without a doubt in your mind you will be marrying. Just ask sometime when you are alone, so as not to embarrass him or yourself.
