Mackenzie answered Wednesday July 13 2005, 12:22 am: You should DEFINITELY call him. PeRhaps he said no, because he didn't take the offeR seRiously.. since it was coming fRom youR FRIEND and not YOU, ya know?? PeRhaps befoRe you ASK HIM OUT, you could tRy telling him how you feel. That way he'll Realize the seRiousness of the conveRsation. Just flat out tell him. Don't beat aRound the bush, just say it. Just be bold, be honest, and go foR it. I think once YOU have told HIM how YOU feel, you aRe moRe likely to get an HONEST Response foR him; since you would have bRoken the ice, you see? It's Really the *ONLY* way to know FOR SHORE if how he feels about you; you can *ASSUME* his feelings all you want... but you'll neveR actaully know EXACTLY how he feels unless it's coming stRaight fRom HIM, you see?? And let's assume the woRst and he says he infact DOES NOT like you. Then it's kind of an 'end of stoRy' deal. Bottom line.. you CAN NOT **MAKE** someone like you, as unfoRtunate as that is. And what's the point in foRming a Relationship when only ONE paRtneR holds Romantic feelings foR the otheR anyhow?? All that matteRs is that you tRy to peRsue this to the best of youR abilities.
Hopefully eveRything goes as you wish!! ♥ [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
