It's not wrong for a girl to ask a guy out at all! Her friends must be crazy, since a lot of guys dig it when the girl makes the first move; such as asking him to the movies, or to go out with her. Maybe you should talk to her friends about this problem. Tell them it's perfect normal for a girl to ask a guy out.
