My mom and my best friend hate him!
Soo I really like this one kid and he likes me too. The only problem is that my mom and my best friend hate him. My best friend told me she*ll never talk 2 me again if i go out with him. The only reason the hate him is because he's black, Im white and they think Im to good for him and he is a jerk. He is the complete opposite of a jerk.He's one of the nicest guys i ever known. I know if we go out he'll treat me right, but no one will listen to me. My mom just judges him because he's black. She knows nothing other than that. I really really wannna go out with this kid, but i dont wanna lose my friendship or my moms respect.

i have been in the same problem and i am in it agian. i am in love wit a black and my mom doesnt approve of it because he is black.. my best friend dosnt approve of it either but this guy repects me and treats me right. your friend should understand how you feel about this guy. mine wasnt to happy about it but know she doesnt anything about your friend should know that you dont like the same guy. you both have different taste in guys and she needs to understand. i am white but i dont like white guys i dont know why i dont but i just dont.my bf right now is black and my mom knows we are friends and nothin else. talk to your mom and tell her that you should be able to go out with any guy you want beacause it is your life... but be nice about it because if you dont you wont get anywhere. if that doesnt work tell her you and this guy are only friends. keep ur reltionship with this guy on the DL.. if your friend doesnt understand y you like this guy and respects that fact then she isnt a really good friend. she should stick by your side through thick and think no matter how hard it gets. i hope this helps you out.
