I'm 16/f. I've liked this guy for about four years. We'll call him Joe. I really can't get over him, and i think it's because i always knew he liked me, but i never told him because i didn't think anything was actually going to happen out of it. Now that i'm getting older and i try to get close to guys i just can't because then i can't stop thinking about Joe. I mean like last week we were talking and he said like he missed hanging out with me and stuff and anyways.. it was how he normally talks to me. Then last night i was online and i was talking to his best friend (Aaron) and his best friend told me he liked me. So since obviously he knows his best friend better than i do, i asked him for help on what to say because well, i didn't feel the same way. and he told me to say stuff like "well i don't really know you all that well right now" and stuff.. Which is true i mean i've only met the kid twice. I can't have feelings for him like that. But Aaron was always the one i could talk to about Joe because they are best friends and seriously like two weeks ago he was still telling me Joe liked me. And i don't know it seems kind of amazing that after four years of liking me to just stop. But i dont know. I feel like he was telling me to say like "well nothing between Aaron and I yet, because we don't know eachother well enough" and that makes me sad. I feel like he's saying Aaron can have me or whatever. Or maybe he's just helping me be nice instead of saying like "No, i'll never like you." What's your opinion?

Well, i think that you should yourself tell joe that you like him. I mean your kind of letting him slip away, and he could be the "perfect one" you wont know untill you try it out. Aaron, well i mean yeah he sounds like a very good person to talk to about joe, but if joe is all you think about you should talk to him, and if aaron is trying to make you say that "oh well me and aaron has nothing between us yet, but we know each other like that, blah blah blah" aarons trying to get close to you, well if he cant see that you like joe and that your trying to talk to aaron about joe, then hes just one dumbass haha, But i think that you should talk to joe, because tomorrow you might wake up and him totally hate you, Yeah you only met him twice, but even just meeting someone online is good enough. It doesnt matter how much you guys seen eachother, it matters what you feel for him and why. I hope that things work out and that you take my advice. Good luck on everything
