hey i was reading your column & noticed one in particular that you responded to. the one where the person said that they used to be a bit chubby and was now a size 5 and could sing alto. on your response to her, you said that you had recently lost 40 lbs. in the last year or so. i was just wanting to know how you accomplished that. im not really fat, but i would like to tone up a bit. so i was just wondering how you lost the weight. thanx!

BearKatGirl09 answered Sunday July 10 2005, 1:14 am: i did that program weight watchers with my mom.....have you heard of it? www.weightwatchers.com that is their website you can go there and find out quite a bit of information...um the basics of the program is that based on your weight you get a certain amount of "points" a day and everything you eat has its' own points a lot of this program has to do with proportions this along with daily exercise is a great way not only lose weight but you keep it off....there are optional wigh in meetings that are held every week i think....if you want to know anything else you can IM on AIM @ dragontennis05
