i was wondering what would happen to my puppy (about 4 monthes) if i would give her rawhides/pigsears. My family wanted to give them to her because she chews alot and shes starting to get bored with the toys she has and everytime we get her a bone ( like a nylabone) she eats the 3 back in a day or 2. We figured that her stomach was strong enough for them because she hasnt gotten sick at all from the wide variety of food and treats shes had. also shes unintentionally gotten some people food and has been just fine.

rawhide isnt good for dogs even though they say it is. rawhide doesnt digest easily and stays in a ball in the dog's stomach. pig ears are better and usually cheaper. as long as you don't give your puppy a pig ear every day it should be fine. try to give them 1 every week.

you can give your pup rawhides and pigsears, but you need to supervise it so that it doesnt start to choke because its so little. so dont like give him one and leave the house, just keep an eye on him and make sure hes not trying to eat it too fast or anything, and it'll be alright.

we gave my dog those when she was a puppy...n she never got sick.
