Boyfriend
Im 13 and ve been going out with my boyfriend for 8 months now and i love him alot.When we first went out he told me he stopped smoking the first day we went out.The first 5 month of our relationship he lied to me and told me he didnt smoke.I finally found out by his 7 year old sister.And i was heart broken but i didnt break up with him beucase he promised me he wouldnt ever lie to me or hurt me or smoke again. But then in like 2 weeks we lied to me 3 more times about smoking.And i still didnt break up with him.Then on New Years he lied to me and told me he didnt drink when I found out by his mom and friends that he got drunk. After that everything was ok. But about a week ago he started lying to me again and smoked and lied to me about it.Ive tried EVERYTHING to get him to stop lying to me. I even promised him that i wouldnt break up with him if he did something but told me the truth about it. Please tell me what i can do to get him to stop lying to me...

Hi, well I'm 13 yrs old too and i got the best thing to do. You should tell him that if you don't stop smoking or drinking, I'll break up with you. If he keeps on doing that just tell him that we are breaking up or just stay away from him for 2weeks and then he will notice what he is doing wrong or just tell... WELL ALL THOSE TIMES HE LIED TO YOU AND TOLD YOU HE WOULD STOP SMOKING WAS BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT YOU TO BREAK UP WITH HIM. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT IT ISNT SO EASY TO STOP SMOKING. I MEAN HE MUST OF BEEN DOING IT FOR A WHILE AND NOW HE IS ADDICTED AND CANT REALLY STOP THAT EASY. BUT HE DOES NEED TO. I MEAN SMOKING IS TERRIBLE AND YOU HAVE TO TELL HIM THE CONSIQUNCES. I UNDERSTAND IF HE GOT DRUNK ON NEW YEARS THO. SOO MANY PEOPLE WERE AND THATS JUST THAT ONE NIGHT WHERE YOU CAN HAVE A BIT OF ALCHOCOL. I KNOW YOU WANT HIM TO STOP LIEING TO YOU BUT I BET HE IS JUST SCARED. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU SAY YOU WONT BREAK UP WITH HIM HE STILL THINKS YOU MIGHT. YOU JUST NEVER KNOW. JUST TALK TO HIM AGAIN AND OFFER TO HELP HIM STOP. HE MUST SMOKE A LOT AND JUST TELL HIM THAT YOU WILL TRY TO HELP HIM. EVEN THO IF HE SAYS HE WONT NEED HELP QUITING HE DOES. SMOKING IS BAD AND EVERYTHING BUT YOU CANT JUST LET THAT GET IN THE WAY OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP. THE BAD PART IS HE IS LIENG T0 YOU. YOU ALSO HAVE TO TELL HIM TO STOP LIENG TO YOU!! I MEAN IF HE ISNT GOING TO STOP THEN HE NEEDS TO STOP LIENG AT LEAST. YOU ALREADY KNOW HE DOES AND PLUS EVERYTIME HE LIES TO YOU YOU ALWAYS FIND OUT THE TRUTH. Well you deffenitly need to talk to him. Tell him that there is no relationship if you can't trust each other. You can't have a good, healthy relationship if you can't trust eachother. Goodluck, I hope this helps !
