Question Posted Friday July 1 2005, 2:32 pm

all my friend but one are going away this summer. theres only so much time i can spend with one person and not annoy them or have them annoy me. i was wondering if anyone can suggest some things that i can do to keep myself entertained this summer. 14/f and i dont have a whole lot of money to spend, so something that requires low spending would be good. obviously i have alredy thought of going to the movies, going to the beach, etc. all the regular things. i'll rate 5's for creative and good answers.

Hey- wow I've been there before, nothing to do and no friends in town. It'll sort of suck at first but you'll find ways to keep yourself entertained. Do something such as re-arrange your room, go for a bike ride, lay out and read a book, or start reading a new series of books (Sisterhood of the travelling pants was a good series). Go to the library, rent some DVDS, babysit, work out, stuff that keeps you from sitting around all the time, hope that helped!

You can make a website. ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) or sign up on yahoo and play games. ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) You can dye your hair, do your make up, go outside and tan, hit the mall, watch movies at your place, go for walks, go swimming, cook, clean, paint, draw, listen to music, dance, chat on the computer, watch t.v, do your room over, write poems, start a journal, write some songs, learn how to play the guitar, etc.

write a story, organize your closet, clean (hah), create a work-out plan (and do it), *paint old furniture with cute designs, draw pictures, write a song, think of crazy recipes and cook them, do crazy things with your hair, get a job around the neighborhood, go on bike rides to fun places like starbucks, read...

hmm... if i think of any more i'll let you know!

hope this helps- :)
