hey! okay, so this friday is the Vans Warped Tour. my mom said i could go BUT she said maybe because it's very unsafe. i'm going with my best friend and we're trying to get other people. so my question is, has anyone been to it? and if so, can you tell me what it's like. and if you CAN help me to persuade my mom that it is? thanks!! :)

mmm,there us alot of mosh pits,very hott but like everyone has said u get hosed down ,drugs and drinking

alright well i just answerd a question exactly like this! lol so im just going to post what i told them but add more info..
oh boy..lol DONT LISEN TO "SHAKE"!! no offence to him or anything but they have AWSOME bands there so yea..
1.there cds are like 10-or more and there shirts and stuff is like 12-or more..but i dont know where you live so it might cost more or less there..i live in cali. so yea if you live in cali. it will probibly be the same!
2.you can buy pins, stickers, patchs stuff like that there also!!
3.uhm my advice is be carfull dont wear any thing hott cause it will be hooott haha sunscreens good..WEAR "TENNISHOES" cause if your in the pit or around it your shoes will come off they can even come off if your wearing those kind of shoes too so yea. also if you have anything valuble like a cell phone or something or just something else dont take it..you can take your cell phone but if your a girl you might want to keep it in a purse or something because i garontee it will fall out of your pocket..and bye bye cell phone! haha so just keep it somewhere safe NOT YOUR POCKETS! also a hint if you want to meet some of your favorite bands or a band or something go really early or stay really late after its over! thats when there around getting on/off there buses and stuff!! they go everywhere so just go on a search around the place haha! :oD also another pointer is HAVE FUN! haha not really a pointer but your going to have so much fun!! im excited for you! lol if you want let me know how it went because id LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear your story! i went last year but im not allowed to go this year :o[ suuucckkss!! so yea have fun!!
and yea dont wear white! they spray you with water and stuff..so that wont be good if your wearing white and also you need tickets..so your not going to get anyone else to go cause they dont have tickets!! also there are drugs and its probibly one of the most crazyest concerts youll go to!! the people go crazy there in the pits and stuff..stay away from the front if you dont want to be in a pit!! so just tell your mom its supposed to be the best concert ever (which it is tahts not lying! haha) and that youll stay away from the front where the pits are and that youll stay away from any crazy people you see! i dont know what to tell you to tell your mom cause mine wont let me go this year either :o[ HAVE FUN!

Everything I tell you about Warped Tour is definately something you SHOULDN'T tell your mom. She probably won't let you go if you tell her any of this. Warped tour is probably the most insane concert you'll ever be at. There are thousands of people there, it's HOT HOT HOT and there are plenty of mosh pits. Odds are, you will get hit a few times whether you try to avoid the moshing or not. DO NOT bring anything of value with you because it can most definately get stolen. Many people do drugs there and it can be VERY violent. Don't bring alot of cash with you, keep it in your shoes or in your bra. Wear a tanktop and shorts because they spray you down with a hose to cool you off. You need to me VERY careful at Warped tour because things do get way out of hand. Tell your mom warped tour is supposed to be the best concert in the world and it will be ESSENTIAL for your teenage experience. But telling her about the drugs and other stuff, is something for only you to know and for her to hopefully never find out.
