Okay, I've almost always been like this, but now I want to know if its just me, or if its a common isue. I have a hard time with grammar. I don't know when to use correct words, tenses, etc. I used to be very smart as a child but ever since... 5th-6th grade maybe? I've had difficulties. Like, yesterday... I said "I got to drove them home" and it didn't sound right... but I was thinking to myself, I don't think thats right... if its not, how do you correctly say it (Then I realized it was "I got to drive them home"). But its little stuff like that. And I often mess up on sentences. If I'm talking about a girl and a guy, and I'm quoting the girl, I'll say "He was like..." and then I quickly say "She was like...". Its like my brain isn't messing up on little things. Is this a common problem? I'm 16/f.

kooka-burra answered Monday June 20 2005, 6:52 pm: with the "hewas like" i meen "she was like". Thats totaly common. Just a little mix up.
but thinking about the "i got to drove them home". That is a little more.... uncommon. All I can say is that If this happens to you everyday then yes i think there might be something wrong there. But most likely it's just stupid little misshaps.
It you are really feeling like this is affecting everyday life then talking to your mom or doctor about it is a good idea.
flimsypaperdoll answered Monday June 20 2005, 5:13 pm: brain farts happen occasionally, i too have short periods of time when i can't tell if i'm using correct grammar. but they usually pass. unless you have done some serious brain damage and it happens A LOT, then you should go to a doctor. if you smoke weed, i say stop because it kills your brain cells. don't hit your head on walls, try not to drink too much!!
