I am going to be staying in a small village in Northern Italy this summer as an exchange student for 6 weeks! I know I should dress modestly there as to not offend who I am staying with, but what are some cute ways to dress and stay in style while abroad?
i think that you should wear lots of skirts they are flattering and they will not be offending by you wear a skirt. short or long will be cute. and sandals and high heels espically high heels. and cute firty tops.

*Polos, Solid color t-shirts, Sweaters(if its cold), Modest tanks (if its hot)
*Accesiores such as simple necklaes and earings will make the outfits more fun

Razhie answered Saturday June 18 2005, 9:04 pm: It can get hot! I'd go for cute flowing skirts and funky blouses. Nothing sleeveless. Caprees would probably be fine too as long as they aren't too many jeans. Have Fun! [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]
LoveNJstyle answered Saturday June 18 2005, 6:36 pm: well i would go with nice pants or bermudas. they dont have do be like dress pants but i dont think they should be ripped up or anything. try a fitted tshirts that doesnt show your stomach, some cute button downs and throw in some tank tops too. bring a peasent skirt too. hope this helps a bit. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
_eMiLy answered Saturday June 18 2005, 6:35 pm: I think if you just dress in some cute jeans or capris and tees and the ocassional skirt or shorts then you should be fine.
You could wear whatever you wanted as long as it's not too revealing seeing as the family may find it offensive.
