Ok, this is kind of embarrassing, but I'm 13 and I'm going to be in the 9th grade in August. I weigh about 160 pounds and I'm about 5'1". Is that obese? I'm very troubled by my weight and try to do my best getting it off but I don't know what to do. As I said, I'm only 13 and don't really have as many resources as, for instance, a 30 year-old that wants to lose weight does. For example, they can wake up and go straight to the gym, come home have a nutritious lunch, go out and do something active, and come home and have a nutritous me. Me-Wake up, (can't legally drive so I can't go anywhere) ask my mom to take me to the gym. Her response-"Maybe later." and I never end up going. And well I see I'm blabbing on and on here...so here's my question- am I at a healthy or obese weight and what can I do to try to be thinner and lighter? Thanks bunches!!
Additional info, added Sunday June 12 2005, 6:34 pm: For example, they can wake up and go straight to the gym, come home have a nutritious lunch, go out and do something active, and come home and have a nutritous dinner.* not a nutritous me. LoL sorry
