Highschool Tennis Tryout
Hi,
Next year will be my first year of highschool, and I'm interested in trying out for the tennis team. If anyone's tried out for the tennis team at their school before, will you please tell me what I should expect to be doing during the tryout? Are they looking to see if I can keep the ball in play? Are they going to have me play a couple of sets?

alot of teams dont have tryouts, they see performance through practices and then place you from there. Just practice alot and if your good theyll let you play

They will really put you through your paces.
The odds are that they are going to require you to play singles and mixed doubles.
They will also probably have a an offset ball launcher that will make you run back and forth across the court at high speed trying to field the balls as fast as possible.
The things they will be looking for or accuracy, leg strength, speed and endurance.

Well everyschool is difforent. But my school they make you do backhands and forhands and stuff like that. YOu have to play a set and stuff like that.
