ok see im 14 and 4 tha past 14 years my dad hasnt been n my life n if he has it was a phone call every couple of years and yest was my birthday and he called me told me happy birthday said he wished he was here i wanna believe him and actually have a dad for once but i dont want him 2 do what hes done before should i trust him or not??????
HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be guarded, but try. Talk to him, try to hopefully make it through some issues that you must have, with him being gone for your entire life. Try not to get your hopes up too high, though, because it's always so much worse when you get your hopes shot down. But anyway, talk to him, try to form a relationship with him, because if you don't try, you'll end up regretting it. Hope I helped:-).
