I think a decent and respectable guy is far to find no matter what race or gender. It's a known fact that people lie for whatever the reason might be. And as for the confusion, I think that a lot of people get bored without some kind of confusion so they create it themselves. I think the best you can do is just keep up your standards, so people know you won't settle for anything less than you deserve. But with that said, in the mean time, you should still go out and have fun even if it's no with the guy you know you're going to spend the rest of your life with.
