Modest Mouse (which is a lot more cryptic than any of those)
Primus (If you are into the chili peppers for flea - because Les Claypool is an incredible bassist, My favorite next to Jack Cassidy)
The White Stripes (
The Pixies (if you're into the older chili peppers)
Jefferson Airplane (Since you're a doors fan)
Hot Tuna (Cassidy from Jefferson Airplane - same reason as Jefferson Airplane is up there)
